The Rave Run 5k | San Jose, California

 

 I spent my Saturday night running a 5k at the Santa Clara Fairgrounds for The Rave Run with my brother and friend. It was a night packed with glow sticks, lights, lasers and music. The theme was a nice change and was definitely fun. Check out the pictures from last night, after the jump!

Rose Gold Makeup Inspired by itsjudytime

 

Did this makeup video inspired by Judy from itsjudytime because I'm in need of a change and I'm willing to try new fun colors this Spring! The tutorial she did was called Rose Gold & Purple Eyeshadow. I'm a big fan of Judy, as well as her husband Benji and their adorable baby Julianna. I thought this tutorial I did my makeup based off of was the perfect pop of color mixed while still using neutral colors.

Day Trip & Meeting Jenn Im of clothesencounters | Davis, California

My friends and I decided to head to Davis for the day to visit a friend and to meet Jenn Im at the Davis flea market. Which of course I was obliged to buy her clothes, because her stuff is ridiculously awesome. I ended getting a white button up blouse with leather accents and a Motel Rocks sheer black dress with cross beading, pieces she's worn in her recent winter videos. After the meet up with Jenn we stopped by a friends and decided to grab lunch. We ended up eating at Raku Sushi, which was AYCE sushi for $12 bucks. Talk about sushi heaven! The weather in Davis was really warm, but beautiful and quiet nonetheless which made going home a bit hard. The ride home wasn't as long as I thought even with a bit of traffic and produced those rare, great car talks. So all in all, the day was perfect!

Yelp Event ArtHouse Preview Party | Downtown San Jose, California

Yelp threw a small event that did a collaboration with ArtHouse, which hosted a preview party. This was no usual Yelp event as it was art based, but that made it nothing short of fun. My friend Jenny accompanied me where we got to do artsy fartsy things and look through the galleries located in downtown San Jose. I never knew we had such great galleries so close to home. I got to make my mother a hand made plate, observe art and get to finally try the Grilled Cheese Bandits gourmet grilled cheeses. Such a wonderful event, it's events like these that I feel are definitely needed to get back in touch with our creativity and away from our computers and phones.
